A bit of a different post today… today is a celebration 🎉

30 years ago today, the main man himself — Oor Hugh — put his very first taxi on the road.

Fast forward 30 years and not only have there been many more cars on the road since, but now he’s passing the reins down to his son, James.

Three generations of Cowans.
30 years of service.
And many more still to come.

We marked the occasion with a lovely family meal — and a beautiful cake from the one and only Me’s Cafe, Coylton 👏🎂

(PS: Matthew was absolutely delighted to attend… but after eating his body weight in Haggis Bon Bons and Chicken Tempura, the food coma hit hard and a wee nap was very much required 😴🤣)

Happy 30 year anniversary to Cowans Of Ayr 🚖

And a massive thank you to all the loyal customers over the years — without you, none of this would have been possible.

• Models must return after 2 weeks for rebalance & infill
• Includes overlay & extension application

I enrolled to complete my AET Level 3 (UK teaching qualification) only to find out that…
✨ I already held the SQA equivalent — and always had! ✨

I still completed the coursework and was told my work was excellent and written really well, which honestly gave me the confidence boost I didn’t know I needed 🥹

From there, I reached out to professional companies to become a member and offer fully accredited courses.

✨ What does that mean? ✨
Any course you complete with me will:
• Give you a recognised qualification
• Allow you to gain insurance
• Enable you to offer the service to the wider public

Customer notice

As New Years Eve approaches, we wanted to give all customers a little update

We only have 1 taxi out tomorrow due to holidays and it’s making getting booked really difficult.

If you are not already booked in for your taxi, it’s unlikely we will be able to accommodate as we have absolutely no availability between the hours of 12midnight-4am New Years Day and very limited availability before this
