Unusual request for 2x drivers for this coming Friday 29th.

I received a call today from an American tourist who has basically lost confidence driving on the Highland roads ( a decision to be commended btw, always good to recognise one’s limits.

This gentleman requires help in returning his hire car to Arrochar on Friday 29th. He requires someone to drive his hire car to Arrochar and said driver will require a pal or colleague to shadow him there and drive him back. Or the driver can do it alone, pocket the payment and make his own way back etc…

The gentleman is aware that this is unusual and is willing to pay well.

As this is such an unusual request I figured, rather than approach different taxi/private hires individually it was prob best to put an APB on here.

To eliminate me from the equation, if any interested parties think they can help, he is staying at Redwood House until Friday and can be reached there’s

Looking for a taxi/private hire with availability for collection in Portree next Sun 17th to Kyle. I’m unavailable for this run myself.

I have a customer who will be returning a hire car to Portree but then needs to get to Kyle for the Inverness train. Unsure of the exact time but will be morning.

If you have availability, give me your number/email to pass to the customer and you can sort the detail between you?
