Last night our General Manager Lewis Duckworth, and Commercial Director Rosie Prescott had the pleasure of attending 45th Annual Conference at the Royal Automobile Club in London.

The topic of the evening was AI and “Made in Italy.” 🇮🇹

With a fantastic panel of speakers and engaging discussions, it was fascinating to explore how AI is transforming businesses, both in Italy and beyond. The insights shared on integrating AI into various sectors were inspiring, highlighting the exciting possibilities ahead.

We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation and exploring new ways AI can be implemented in our work!

We always get asked what makes us more sustainable than other logistics providers?

With our own GTS trains and rail assets our cross-Europe rail network ensures that the use of lorries is kept to a minimum. Using rail only uses 25 per cent of the CO2 compared to road transport on equivalent journeys. Utilising the network also means reduced congestion and, therefore, improved air quality.

This month on Get to know team GTS UK we are featuring our Business Development Manager, Rosie Prescott 👋

Rosie joined us in July 2020 and her daily responsibilities focus on intermodal and supply chain sales, assisting new and existing customers with quotes and tenders. Rosie works closely with the rest of the GTS UK team and also the commercial team in Italy – she visited Bari recently for a busy few days full of meetings with our Italian colleagues.

Outside work Rosie is a massive football fan and has a season ticket at Manchester City, keeping up the family tradition! She is a very good tennis player and played at County level as a junior 🎾 Rosie loves travelling and visiting new locations whenever she gets the chance.

Rosie is proud to be part of our talented team which is committed to providing exceptional service to all our stakeholders and says:

‘I enjoy that the sky's the limit, there is always motivation to challenge ourselves and keep up with the constantly changing logistics industry.’
