A M Bracewell Transport is more than just a haulage company. We’re a fourth-generation, family-run business with over 200 years of history in transport. We specialise in bespoke haulage solutions, multi-drop deliveries, and same-day services across the UK.

Now, we’re looking for a Transport Planner to join our team — someone who doesn’t just want a job, but wants to be part of the A M Bracewell family.

💼 About the Role
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving are key. You’ll be responsible for:
✅ Planning daily schedules and multi-drop routes
✅ Supporting and coordinating with drivers
✅ Keeping customers updated with a can-do attitude
✅ Overseeing loading to ensure safe, efficient deliveries
✅ Ensuring compliance with driver hours and legislation

👤 What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in transport planning/logistics
Strong UK geographical knowledge
Understanding of groupage and maximising loads
Knowledge of driver hours, tachograph rules & compliance
A real team player with strong communication skills
Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and adaptable
(Forklift licence and/or HGV Class 2 desirable but not essential)

Get stuck in — whether it’s solving a tricky route or helping with loading

🕒 Working Hours
Monday to Friday, core hours between 07:30 – Finish

We’re a family-run HGV haulage business looking for a Part-Time Administrator to join our busy office team.

📅 Hours: Monday – Friday, 27.5 hours per week (flexible – to be discussed at interview)
💷 Pay: National Minimum Wage

What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Scheduling vehicle maintenance & keeping records up to date
✔️ Recording delivery paperwork ready for invoicing
✔️ Scanning and filing paperwork
✔️ Checking driver timesheets

💻 Organised and confident with IT
