🚧 ROADS UPDATE – GUILD STREET BRIDGE 🚧

Works to the Guild Street bridge will begin from 18 May 2026 and will be carried out in two phases.

🔹 Phase 1
Sett channel repairs will take place along the carriageway over approximately 3 weeks per side. The road will remain open, however lane widths will be reduced while works are underway.

🔹 Curing Period
Once complete, works will pause for 28 days to allow the concrete to fully cure.

🔹 Phase 2
A full road closure is expected from approximately 30 July 2026 for around 4 days to allow final resurfacing works using asphalt.

Scottish Water has completed its emergency works on Market Street.
The traffic restrictions on Market Street have now been lifted.
Please note the bus gates on Guild Street and Bridge Street, which were suspended during the works, have been reactivated.
