Sara Clarken will be exhibiting some artworks at the Maverick EXPO #3 opening this Wednesday:

'Sara Clarken is a multidisciplinary artist who's work surrounds themes of commodity criticism and concepts of ideology in modern consumer culture. Clarken utilizes presentation methods that integrate photography with sculptural forms to reinforce the nature of a fetishized society by printing on industrial materials such as plastics, foams, and metals. She uses recognizable 21st Century icons and aesthetics – ranging from leaked celebrity photographs to over-sexualized advertisements in an effort to deconstruct their effects on the public psyche and question the impact at large. The upcoming London event will be located at 46 Great Titchfield Street, W1W London, ten minutes from the Frieze Art Fair. And, the location of our Paris event is located in Palais-Royal, a wonderful venue near the Louvre and Grand Palais, site of FIAC.
