❄️ Winter is coming to Courchevel! 🏔️

Winter is still a couple of months away, but we’re already looking forward to snowy roads, beautiful Alpine landscapes and the magic of Courchevel in winter.

This video was filmed last winter, on a snowy night in Courchevel. We can’t wait to see the resort covered in snow again!

🚘 Planning a trip to Courchevel this winter? Here are two important tips:

✈️ If you’re arriving or departing on a Saturday, we recommend booking your transfer in advance. Saturdays are among the busiest days of the ski season, and demand for transfers can be high.

❄️ When heavy snowfall is expected, allow extra time for your journey. Mountain roads can become slower to navigate, so if you have a flight to catch, it’s better to leave earlier.

Bologna🇮🇹 : the city of magnificent porticoes and wonderful Bolognese pasta! 🍝
We continued our trip in Bologna, a city with stunning architecture, unique towers, and beautiful squares.
Our guide took us to the historic center. We walked quite a long way from our parking spot to Piazza di Porta Ravegnana to admire the two towers located there. We walked under covered porticoes the entire way. There are many magnificent old palaces near the square.
Then we headed to Piazza Maggiore, the main square of Bologna, whose history dates back to the 13th century. We were impressed by the grandeur and elegance of the following buildings:
Basilica of San Petronio — a huge Gothic church with an unusual facade: the lower part is covered in marble, while the upper part remains brick.
Palazzo d’Accursio — Bologna’s historic town hall, with its tower and clock.
Palazzo del Podestà — a medieval palace.
🤯 Did you know that the total length of Bologna’s porticoes is around 62 kilometers? Some of them are so historically significant that they were included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021!
But what would a trip to Bologna be without enjoying its food? 😍 We stopped at a small restaurant near Piazza Maggiore and ordered Bolognese pasta. It was really delicious! To be honest, we expected something quite average, considering that this is a very touristy area, but the pasta did not disappoint!))

Bussana Vecchia is one of the most unusual and stunning places in Italy. It’s not just an old town, but almost a “ghost town,” abandoned after an earthquake and then reborn decades later. Artists settled in, renovated and decorated the buildings and streets, opened various workshops, and began living there. Many tourists from all over the world come to this town. It’s a truly unforgettable place with a special atmosphere and beauty. It’s located near Syrym, but you have to drive along winding streets to get there. You can stroll around the town for about an hour, then spend time at a local bar or restaurant—the food is delicious, and the locals make everything themselves. 🇮🇹

Traffic jams on the road from Nice to Saint-Tropez and back are very bad during the summer season (approximately from June 10 to September 10). Getting around Saint-Tropez and surrounding towns is especially difficult on weekends, so sometimes transfer drivers take a detour via Plan de la Tour. During the morning and evening hours on weekdays (when people are going to and from work), you may get stuck in traffic jams at toll stations and on the approach to Nice Airport. We recommend that you take this into account and leave for the airport early to avoid being late.

Port Grimaud is an interesting, refined, and very beautiful place — a unique town not far from Saint-Tropez. If you are planning to spend your holidays in this area this summer, be sure to visit Port Grimaud and take a walk along its canals.

You won’t be able to drive into the town itself, but there is parking nearby opposite the entrance. Alternatively, you can book a transfer from Nice to Grimaud, which costs around €170–180.
