To further expand the ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing European activities we are pleased to welcome Fredrik Niermann in our team again as a new Marketing & Sales Manager. After working in another industrial segment for a year, we are excited to welcome him back on board.

ALBATROSS Tank- Leasing also has 20’’T75 tanks in the diversified fleet which can handle cryogenic gases such as liquid oxygen, liquid argon, liquid nitrogen, liquid nitrous oxide, etc. The tanks are available for short and long-term lease. The 20’’ T75 tanks are well equipped with pressure build units and are ASME approved with 18 bar as MAWP. As usual the ALBATROSS Tank- Leasing high maintenance standard ensures hassle-free operations during the transport of cryogenic gases.
In the near future, additional 20’’ T75 tanks will be available from the Asia region for leasing to support our customers in Asia, the Middle east, and Africa.
The local team will assist for all inquiries related to T75 tanks to discuss and provide a competitive offer to end-users.

With him on board ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing will not only bring a tighter focus on customer relationships but also put more effort into the growth and development of new profitable businesses in the region for our long-term success. ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing is now well placed in the Indian and Middle East region with all the resources to support our customers.
Rehan is a postgraduate in chemistry and will be based out of Mumbai this would be our second office in India after last year's announcement of the Vadodara office. Rehan is having 7+ years of experience in the tank container industry mainly with multiple well-known MNC operators and shipping companies.
We’re excited and look forward to his contributions to our efforts in growing our market presence in the India and Middle East region.

ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing welcomes arrival of standard newbuild T11 ISO tanks in Europe

The newbuild program for ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing, which was launched last year is moving ahead at fast pace. The new build tanks have now arrived in Europe to serve the European customers. Due to the current market situation, there is a substantial increase in the Tank container prices but even then, the demand for ISO tank containers have increased enormously. The global ISO tank container fleet year on year growth was about 7.3% last year. ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing is also committed to increase its fleet size and more ISO tank containers would be available for leasing in coming weeks from various locations to serve the various regions. Customers may contact us to get a competitive offer with one of least lead time available for newbuild tanks in the tank container industry.

To support the future growth of the fleet and meeting the ongoing customer’s requirements for technical support ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing has appointed Tobias Feldhoff as Technical Manager. Based in the German headquarter in Willich he will not only manage the operational and technical issues of the daily fleet activity but will especially focus on servicing the customer base with technical support whilst the tanks are on hire. The extensive service package of ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing does by far exceed the traditional, more passive leasing structure, fleet management packages are tailor made to the demand of the individual customer. After many years working in the Tank container workshop of LFTS Oberhausen Tobias brings with him not only the technical experience for the standard tanks but also has extensive knowledge of the Cryogenic T75 tanks which nicely compliments the fleet growth of the LNG and air gas business, being a very important part of the long term strategy of ALBATROSS.

ALBATROSS Tank-Leasing has launched an extensive new build program for 2022, first batch of 100 x 26 cbm ISO-TC is currently already in production and tanks will be delivered as from end of November onwards.

Tankcontainers are built according to the high quality and safety standards of the ALBATROSS fleet. Features like extra corrosion allowance, enlarged steam heating capacity with 12 runs connected to heatable bottom outlet fl**ge, full walk way coverage, lids on the compartments and collapsible handrail will ensure that tanks will meet customers requirements for safe handling and operation over the life time of the tanks.

With the configuration of 4 horizontal pads in the rear compartment the tanks can be adapted to most of the loading and discharging requirements and do offer a very flexible solution for actual and potential demand without excessive and time consuming rework.

The tanks can be made available ex factory China by end of the year or ex depot Rotterdam where we expect arrival of the first tanks as from February 2022 onwards.
