Remembrance Day, we pause to honor the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country in times of war, conflict, and peace. Their dedication and bravery have secured the freedoms we enjoy today.

Cascade Carriers’ origins date back to 1919 and are deeply rooted in the legacy of Veterans who served in both World Wars. Following the First World War, a group of Veterans founded Veteran Transfer Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta. After the Second World War, the company was purchased by a new generation of Veterans, continuing a proud tradition of service, resilience, and community that remains part of who we are today.

At 11 a.m., we encourage everyone to take a moment of silence to reflect on their service and to remember those who gave their lives for our nation.

Today reminds us of the importance of gratitude, unity, and peace.

As we remember, let us also carry forward the values these Veterans embodied strength in adversity, compassion for others, and hope for a better future.

Lest we forget.

To qualify for driver positions we require the following:

Resume
Class 1 License and a current Driver Abstract with:
maximum of 3 demerits
no more than 2 violations
no more than one preventable accident in previous 3 years
Minimum one-year driving experience with 8 axle vehicle configurations
Pneumatic experience preferred
Must pass a company standard road test
Must pass a company-approved medical examination, including drug and controlled substance testing.
