*** Moving Season 2020 ***

This year is different for all of us. As we adapt to the new circumstances, here are some guidelines for your move this season:

1. All the government regulations apply, i.e. keeping 2m distance and avoiding non-essential travelling.
2. We also remind you, that if for whatever reason, you prefer not to be present during the moving, we ask that there is someone you trust who can be there instead, in order to sign the contract, open the locations and provide guidelines of where the furniture needs to be placed.
3. We always issue a booking confirmation by email upon your reservation, so if you need to provide a proof that your travelling is essential (=you are moving), the booking confirmation on your email should be more than enough.
4. It’s always best to clean the apartment you are moving into prior your moving date. Once the movers leave, we encourage you to wash the floors (obviously 😊), wipe /clean the items that you need to use right away; you can also wait until the next day to unpack the boxes, etc.

*** PRICING FOR MOVING***

Here are some secrets about what the pricing is based on when it comes to moving; it might help you save some money when you move next time 😉

Residential Service

Rates for moving service vary throughout the year with pick season being the most expensive in June-July.

What our rate per hour is based on:
• Date of the moving (season)
• Number of helpers
• Size of the apartment/house and truck required (16ft, 20 ft, 26 ft or 53 ft)
• Pickup and delivery locations (entrance, floor, elevator or stairs)

What’s included in per hour rate:
• Free in person estimation
• Truck with a driver
• Helpers (with minimum 5 years of experience)
• Wrapping of all furniture and appliances
• Blankets for protection of goods and walls, carpet for floor protection
• Insurance

***All estimates are subject to 1 hour transport charge (30 minutes to get to pick up location and 30 minutes to return back to the office). For long distance move pricing, please contact our customer service.

Subject to extra charges above per hour rate:
• Heavy items like piano, safe, pool table, whirlpool bath, etc.
• Assembling and disassembling of furniture
• Palantage
• Overnight storage
• Packaging
• Packing material (except blankets)

Commercial Service
Contact us for a spot quote for one time shipments; if you have regular deliveries throughout the year, please schedule an appointment with our representative to order weighted or skid rates that suit the best your needs.
