GO FOR LANDING.

Tomorrow, a very special car reaches a milestone we couldn’t have imagined when we put it on the road nine years ago.

S1K, the very first Tesla taxi we ever put on the road, is about to reach an incredible milestone of 1,000,000 kilometres.

Over the years, the logos have changed, the wheels have changed, the company has changed, and Kelowna has changed. But this car just kept going.

It has carried guests to work, to the airport, to the hospital, to weddings, nights out, early mornings, special events and ordinary days. It’s been part of thousands of little moments in this community.

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 19, we’re bringing S1K into Tesla Kelowna for its final few kilometres, with our very first Current Taxi guest, Arlene Dohms, joining us again for the milestone.

We’d love to have friends, family, past guests, community partners, and anyone who has been a part of this journey come celebrate with us.

Milestone arrival: around noon

Saturday, September 19

One car. One community. One million kilometres.

See you tomorrow.

Alain once drove the wife of a former Montreal Canadiens goalie.
Who do you think it was? 👀⬇️
And who do you think will be the first NHL player to ride with Alain? 🏒💚

Not every ride is serious business. Sometimes it’s dad jokes, seat squeaks, and way too much laughter. 😂

That’s the joy of riding with Current — our drivers know how to make the journey just as fun as the destination.

From day one, demand was bigger than we ever imagined.

We were turning down hundreds of rides every day — because people saw the difference a better taxi experience makes.

And that’s what we set out to build. 🚖⚡

As a business owner, your most valuable resource isn’t money — it’s time. ⏱️

One of our founders said it best:
“Why spend an hour driving when you could spend an hour working, planning, or even recharging?”

With Current, your commute becomes an extension of your workday (or a much-needed break). That’s why entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals across Kelowna trust us to get them where they need to go.

Because your time is worth more than the cost of a ride.

✨ Ride smarter. Ride Current.

Fun fact: one of our original Current Taxi cars has now driven 950,000 km.

That’s a lot of airport drop-offs, school runs, w**ery tours, and nights out in Kelowna. Thanks for riding with us all the way. 🙌
