🚛 **Sask. Trucking Association flags new CRA reporting rules**

The Saskatchewan Trucking Association is warning carriers about updated **CRA T4A reporting requirements** coming into effect for the **2025 tax year**.

Trucking businesses that pay more than **$500 a year** to Canadian-controlled private corporations for services will now need to report those payments on a **T4A slip (box 048)** — with filings due by **March 2, 2026**.

The association says the move aims to improve fairness and tax compliance across the industry and is urging operators to review their payroll and contractor reporting now to avoid penalties later.

When it comes to paperwork, it’s better to steer early than miss the exit. 🧾🚦
