Meet Dennis, celebrating 26 years with Stage Door Transportation.
Dennis’ journey with Stage Door began in November 1999, when he joined as a safety and compliance consultant. Before that, he built his experience from the ground up, starting as a diesel mechanic and later becoming a truck driver. That hands-on foundation gave him a deep understanding of the industry long before stepping into consulting and leadership.
In 2013, Dennis officially became General Manager, and his responsibilities have continued to expand ever since. Today, he oversees nearly every part of the business. From driver management and truck oversight to supervising the shop and handling the daily challenges that come through the door, his leadership touches almost every corner of Stage Door.
“No two days are alike. You never know what the day holds.”
Over the years, Dennis has helped grow the company, expand the fleet, and strengthen the foundation that keeps Stage Door moving forward. But for him, it is about more than just logistics.
He describes it simply as “trucking with a twist.”
While the outside world sees the excitement of live entertainment, Dennis understands that at its core, it is still trucking. It is the twist that makes it special.
When asked what makes someone successful in this industry, Dennis keeps it straightforward. It comes down to attitude and personality. In a fast moving industry that demands resilience, those qualities make all the difference.
And in one word, how would he describe Stage Door Transportation?
“Awesome.”
To Dennis, that word reflects how we were raised in this industry. Self-taught. Hardworking. Built on the right philosophy and mentality.
After 26 years, Dennis says he would not want to be anywhere else.
Here’s to 26 years of leadership, dedication, and trucking with a twist. 👏
