Christmas used to mean we buy new clothes and look forward to going to our home villages. When we get there we are greeted by the cheer of our cousins running around the yard, with the goat tied on the tree at the back side of the yard.

We would excitedly get out of the car and run into the arms of grandma and grandpa . Cousin Kesego would pull me to the side giggling about how she missed me. We laugh and hug like little babies, its been a year and we have a lot to share.

This used to be our Christmas. It all feels like a dream right...

With the new normal we all have to stay where we are to avoid the spread of the corona virus. Its not safe for people with respiratory conditions and our grannies are the most at risk.
To show that we love them and ourselves let us stay where we are and observe all the covid-19 regulations.

One day things will go back to normal and you will play take 2 cards under the mophane tree in Jamataka with Base cheating and hiding the cards to win. Hahaha... Just kidding. We all know you are the Family champ Base.
