HC/MC Drivers – DUBBO BASED

Shaw's Darwin Transport is a well-established leader in long-haul freight, operating road train services between Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Darwin as well as regular weekly runs between Sydney and Perth.

We are currently expanding and seeking experienced HC/MC Drivers located in the Dubbo region for regular weekly runs from Dubbo to Sydney and other destinations across NSW.

What We’re Looking For:
- A current HC or MC licence with a strong driving record
- Proven loading experience
- Ideally, a valid BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) qualification
- A solid employment history with several years of multi-combination experience.

Shaw’s Darwin Transport are currently seeking DARWIN and BRISBANE based 2up Express teams. Our Express work is based around set runs on set days, completing a round trip every 5 days then 2 days at home before your next trip.
This role is best suited for 2 drivers who are known to each other or those who can prove they can get along no problems.
To be considered for this role, we require candidates who have the following;
· A current MC Drivers licence
· A clear driving record
· Minimum 3 years’ MC experience
· A BFM Qualification
· A current truck safe medical and the ability to pass the medical on a yearly basis
· Experience with load restraints
· A Forklift licence (Ideal but not essential)
A stable employment history, good knowledge of the Australian roads and prior experience in Linehaul and especially 2 up driving will be well regarded.
As Shaw's operate a drug and alcohol free work place, a pre-employment medical and random drug testing will be required.

Our Perth Depot is currently seeking experienced HC Drivers for local Metro work based in Forrestfield.

You will require a current Drivers licence with a clear driving record, loading experience and a BFM qualification for Prime Mover Drivers. A stable employment history and general freight experience will be well regarded.
Plenty of Overtime is currently available. All hours flat pay rate available if preferred.

***PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***

There is again a couple of ads on Gumtree advertising 2 different positions "available" for the DARWIN Depot.

++ THESE ARE AGAIN FAKE! ++

These "companies" are taking the ads we have posted here and once we have marked the jobs as being closed/filled, they then copy/amend them and post them to Gumtree as if we still have them available. I can confirm we do not have any available openings for those positions nor have we had any dealings with either websites or asked them to advertise on our behalf.

We are trying to get the gumtree ads removed but every time the ad is taken down, it immediately gets put back up. Yesterday it was showing the ad as being 3 days old and today its only 15hrs new.

If anyone finds any other ads for "Shaw's" that are on websites other than our own Website, Seek, Indeed or this page please DO NOT APPLY instead check the other sites I have mentioned.
