Here is a throw back to Bill at one of his first jobs before he became owner of his own transport company. Next year will mark forty years since Bill Humphries Transport began. It all started with Bill purchasing his first truck an Atkinson in 1985 and from there the business grew and expanded with the company having up to 14 trucks at one time. Bill has employed a lot of people in the community over the years when people were in between jobs, Bill would always find something in the yard for them to do. He has always been willing to give people a go. He has donated to a lot of local organisations over the years being a community minded person. Bill and his trucks have carted millions of kms all across Australia with many stories to be told. While Bill has scaled down his still got his two faithful employees Mop and Tony that have been with him for over 20 years, they are apart of the furniture. Bill still loves his trucks (only wishes he could still drive them) as he would say keep on truckin'!
