During this period, you may experience slower-than-usual transaction processing times. All services will remain operational, but some delays are possible.

The SmartCab office will be closed from Wednesday 10th December 2025. We will reopen on Monday 12 January 2026. All payments will be still be paid as normal. If a payment date is on a public holiday these payments will be paid the next business day.
All payments from the 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th Dec will be paid on Monday 29th Dec due to the public holidays.
31st Dec and 1st January will be paid on Friday 2nd January.

To all our Valued Drivers, we hope everyone in South East Qld and Northern NSW stayed safe and had minimal damage throughout Cyclone Alfred.

We are proud to announce that along side SmartCab, we started our new venture into the retail industry with SmartEftpos. We now have terminals for any retail needs. So if you know anyone who needs an eftpos terminal for their retail business please give us a call.

We have some exciting news from SmartCab. We have brand new terminals!
These are Telstra terminals and come with touchscreen and work on 3G, 4G and 5G. We have partnered with a new company called Resonance, and we have been working very hard on updating the software along with providing our drivers these new digital terminals.
Over the next few months there will be a gradual roll out of these new terminals to all our current drivers.
We are very excited as we continue to move forward, and thank our drivers for your continued support and patience.
