With our freight movement division specialising in airport lodgement and retrieval, special shipments such as pharmaceutical products, defence and high value freight are all adequately catered for. Wymap has the reputation of safety, efficiency and reliability when it comes to moving high value or sensitive freight. For the movement of air freight containers, Wymap’s chain driven trailers provide ease of loading and unloading, with reduced manual handling risks. Tautliner trailers with fixed floors, chain drive and airbag roller systems are readily available. Rigid three and two bed roller trucks, fully enclosed tautliner trailers and heavy rigid trucks make up part of our extensive fleet. Express and urgent airside movements can also be made with smaller trucks and utilities in the fleet. Services

Throughout March, our team organised a clothing donation drive to help women enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence, providing professional attire that supports them at an important moment in their journey.

Each donation represents more than just clothing. It’s about helping someone feel confident, capable, and ready to take the next step.

Moving oversized aviation equipment requires precision, planning and the right equipment.

This month, our team coordinated the road transport of an 8,500kg gas turbine, an out-of-gauge load requiring a dedicated truck for the journey from Sydney to Brisbane. Working closely with airport ground handling teams and airline partners, the turbine was safely transported and completed with a crane-assisted unload on arrival.

Specialised freight movements like this are where experience and coordination matter most, from planning the route to ensuring safe handling every step of the way.

Another complex move delivered safely and efficiently by the Wymap team.

We’re proud to recognise Noah, who has successfully completed his HR licence upgrade through our Learning & Development program. This milestone not only enhances our operational capability, but also marks an important step forward in Noah’s career progression.

As Noah shared:
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to upgrade my licence and grow within the business. Work is genuinely fun here, every day brings something new, and the support I’ve received has been incredible. This training is a big step forward for my career in transport logistics, and I’m excited about what’s ahead.”

Not every day in aviation logistics looks the same. Sometimes we’re moving turbines, sometimes helicopters… and sometimes a Quokka, four Magpie Geese, and a Veiled Chameleon on their way to their new home at Halls Gap Zoo.

These new arrivals were recently transported by Wymap to their forever home, and you can now visit them at - Victoria’s largest regional zoo, open 7 days.
