⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Unit 200 - Travis’ Toy ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well here it is! Our 200th Unit! Named after Dean and Rose’s first Grandson, Travis!
Travis’ Toy came from a long time ago, when Dean named a truck Nathan’s Toy! So we thought that name had to be carried on!
We picked up this 659 in April 2025 to celebrate our 35th year in Business and it’s been in the shed and getting the look it has today.
Shane Boag from Suttons Arncliffe done the deal for us, Kenworth had the seats trimmed with our 35yr logo and our company logo on the rear wall in the bunk, the truck fitted with Rose’s favourite trim colour, Mariner Blue with Parchment Buttons.
We started off by getting Workhorse to lay down our stripes in Ford Electric Blue and Dan Russo Pink, they also painted the wheel hubs in Ford Wild Violet Purple.
We then ended up relocating the batteries into the toolbox under the passengers door, Steve from Ryans Autos done a cracker job with that, putting them in the toolbox isn’t an option from factory, this gave us more fuel capacity, we also moved the J brackets so that both sides match.
The bonnet then got pulled off and stripped, workhorse painted in the chassis dark blue, deleted the blinker off the top of the bonnet, then we sent it up to Shacko for him to work his magic, it came up unreal!
While the bonnet was off, the engine bay was given a spruce up, painted radiator intercooler, fan & shroud, air intake pipes, power steering reservoir plus more,
Intake manifold and pipes were done by Platinum Powder Coating,
Turbo, Exhaust Manifold and dump pipes were sent to Cro Coat for Ceramic Coating,
Plenty of bolts were replaced with Stainless ones.
We pretty much re cable tied all of the harnesses on the truck to try and neaten it up as much as we could.
Air Cans Hooked us up with a pair of 16” breathers and hats to set the look right up.
Tanks were painted and put back on, Armoury Group Chrome wheels fitted and it was time to head down to Hy Shyne Customs, what a list they had and what a job they did, you really have to see the truck to notice the detail in it, while it was at Hy Shyne, Twin Needle came in and did all the interior trim work, and again, you really need to see the truck to appreciate the work that went into it, from the carpet floor mats to the re trimmed sunvisors and trimmed out toolboxes, absolutely stunning.
Lelox came thru with the new style 3 rib Guards, they look awesome!
Once Luke and the team were finished, up to Shacko to line and Scroll, Shackos attention to detail is second to none, such a legend with the brushes.
Elite Wrappers will fit PPF in the coming weeks to protect the front of the truck.
Ben and the team at C&A Mobile finished off the interior with a killer sound system.
A huge thankyou to everyone that has helped us with this project, everyone has done an incredible job!!!
Congratulations to Rhys Lambley on being handed the Keys after 6 years of service, a little tribute to Rhys’ Family with Dad on the passenger door and Pokin Along on the side,
Again Thankyou to everyone, so much goes into building trucks and words can not describe it 👌🏼
