We made a promise when we started Yasso Transport: 20% of our net profit goes back into the community that supports us.

Last year, that was $344.85.

We said then, “It’s not thousands or millions, but it’s a start.”

Well… this year it is thousands. ❤️

$2,591.17 donated to support Awakening Church and their Friday night feeds, helping feed people doing it tough in our Rockhampton community.

And we’re making one change. Instead of waiting for Yasso’s birthday each year, we’ll now be giving our 20% quarterly.

As Yasso grows, we want the impact to grow with it.

To every customer, business, school, organisation and person who has trusted our little family business: this is your contribution too.

Every booking. Every trip. Every kilometre.

A great Easter long weekend with the JBS crew. It was a privilege to thank them for their hard work and welcome them to Australia by taking them out to Yeppoon and the Causeway for fishing, swimming, a BBQ, and good time together.

Big thanks to JBS for the partnership and the opportunity to support their team over the last 3 months.

Happy birthday to the best employee/manager/mechanic/owner of the month. If it wasn’t for you, your values, your work ethic, and the way you look after people, this business wouldn’t even exist… literally, it’s your business 😂

New additions to the Yasso fleet 🚍

This one means a lot to us.

Back in November, we sat down and set a goal, have 2 vehicles by mid year. At the time, it felt big. Maybe even a bit out of reach.

But here we are.

Because of the support we’ve had, the trust from our community and the work behind the scenes, we’ve been able to make it happen earlier than planned.

So today, we’ve added:
• 14-seater van
• 24-seater bus

Big thank you to Autoworx Used Cars for the van & Heights College for the bus we genuinely appreciate it.

If you’ve supported us in any way, even just following along, you’ve played a part in this.

We’re just getting started.

We’re back on the road 🚍🔥

It’s been a little quiet from us lately, we’ve been working behind the scenes upgrading and positioning Yasso Transport for the next stage of growth.

We’re proud to share that we’re now moving forward stronger than ever, with additions to the fleet:

✅ New Van

More capacity, better service, and more ability to support our community.

A big thank you to the Transport and Main Roads Queensland in Rockhampton especially the crew at Public Transport (PT) for their support along the way, we appreciate working together to keep everything running at the highest standard.

And we’re not stopping here…

We made it!! Yasso Transport is officially 1 year old today! 🚍🥳

And we’re celebrating with the people who made it possible, our Rockhampton community. 🙏

We do birthdays a little different here.
Instead of making it about us, we make it about community.

From day one, we committed to giving 20% of our net profit back and staying transparent as we grow. So here it is:

I know it’s not alot, It’s not thousands or millions, but it’s a start, and it’s a promise we’ll honour every year for as long as we’re blessed to serve.

• Supporting seasonal workers returning home
• Signing Depot Hill State School for our first annual program (2026)
• Helping RCLM with outreach

A good day with good people ❤️🚍

They say laughter is the best medicine and there was a lot of laughter on the bus for this trip. We had the privilege of taking the Elders from Bidgerdii Community Health Service out to Yeppoon for the day. Fresh air, good company with witty funny Elders, was a great day out!!

I’ll be honest… a couple of the Aunties were flirting with me the whole trip 😂
Kept me smiling (possibly blushing) and on my toes the entire time. These are the moments we love, genuine connection and community spirit.

Thank you to Bidgerdii for trusting Yasso Transport to look after your Elders. It’s always an honour.

Quick update from the road 🚍

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted and we have a bunch of exciting news coming shortly, however here is the first.

We recently had the opportunity to support Depot Hill State School with a swiming event, and we’re proud to share that Depot Hill is confirmed for our first annual school transport program starting in 2026. 🙏🏽

Grateful for the partnership with Depot Hill State School and excited for what’s ahead.
