Finally got a load out of Darwin.
A 777 Cat dump truck.
Today is day 3 and we're onighting at Kulgera, just over the NT border.
It's hot. 42 deg today. Travelling at 60 kph so the trailer tyres don't blow.

Brought a 90 ton Excevator up from Melbourne to Darwin.
Arrived in Darwin on 9th October with a van that has a shreaded fan belt.
A mechanic along the was had a look at it and said the tensioner was crook. ( Just had both replaced)
Long story short had it fixed yesterday.
That has given me some time for Fishing.
And isn't there some fish to be caught.
That brings me to a slight problem.
I have serious problems catching fish.
Usually I only catch the crack su***de squad of fish.
You'll be happy to know my average is still the same after a few trips to the wharf.
Sunday found me at a pub with a big screen watching BATHURST and enjoying a counter lunch and a pint.

Darwin has fantastic sunrises and sunsets.

THE WEATHER!!!!!!!!
It's HOT, Danm hot.
36 deg every day, 85% humidity with little or no breeze.
Minimum overnight temp is 29 deg most night.
Even the locals are complaining about the heat.
