The Ramsay’s team is always there to help in any way possible. Fable has been passed into the loving hands of Ramsay's Horse Transport on his way from Perth➡️Melbourne—over 4,000km back across the country!! 😃
Ever since adopting Fable, I’ve been his constant, always handling him, traveling together. So this is an emotional milestone—his first solo adventure!—and I couldn’t be happier that it’s with Ramsay’s. 🥺
Ramsay’s was INTEGRAL to our success in riding across Australia. I remember the first time I called their number to ask for help on the Nullarbor, and Angie answered and said YES. The biggest wave of relief rolled over me. The part that felt the most impossible about our journey, they made achievable. Their driver Shane dropped hay off for us at roadhouses in WA, and even went out of their way to check on me throughout! Just because they cared. ❤️
I cannot express my gratitude and admiration for their team enough. In a world where so many businesses make you feel like just another number on a spreadsheet, Ramsay’s has always, genuinely treated me like family.
Ramsay’s makes weekly runs across the country, with multiple stopovers to rest well along the way.
Perth ➡️ Mundrabilla ➡️ Port Augusta ➡️ Melbourne
Their first stop of Mundrabilla is particularly exciting … as Fable and I camped at the very same stock yards on our ride!! So when Fable arrives there, it’ll be familiar to him, he’ll recognize where he is!! And it should bring him comfort. 😊
Fable & I spent 7 weeks riding across the Nullarbor in Oct-November, but Fable will be driven across it in only 1 day!
Thank you again to the incredible Statewide Horse Transport for delivering Fable from Busselton to Perth, and Ramsay’s for taking Fable the rest of the way!

Fable Diary Entry #2: “Best kidnapping ever! I am getting well looked after with new friends and great hay (happy belly = happy life) AND they are telling me I’m da best horse they ever transported. 😃 [Gin—“Oh come on, I don’t know about that last part….🤨” Fable—“Dis is MY diary, not yours!!” Gin—“Okay, okay, sorry. Continue.”] I can tell from da sun that we are going east. I have no clue where exactly, but today I got off the truck and I realized, gasp! I have been here before!! MUNDRABILLA! I’m on the Nullarbor again. Maybe Gin is here too? No…but it is ok. I am learning to be brave by myself!”
