Behind the scenes at the library 📚

This week we’re carefully relocating part of an archival collection to its new home. Thousands of bound volumes, journals, and records are being moved and reorganised to help preserve and improve access to this important collection.

It’s a big job, but we’re excited about creating a better space for research, learning, and discovery. Thanks to everyone helping make the move happen!

While most people are enjoying breakfast in bed this Mother’s Day… our team is out here giving carpets the kind of attention most teenagers never gave their mums.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums, carers, grandmothers, and legends holding everything together behind the scenes.

And a huge thank you to our crew working hard today to keep things spotless. No days off for dirt apparently

Two very different jobs. One shared purpose.

In Sydney, our team was on the move with one of Australia’s largest law firms — precision, care, and professionalism as always.

Meanwhile in Victoria, we were loading hay bales into a removal truck to support fire-affected communities with a much-needed fodder donation.

From commercial work to community support, we’re proud of our teams for stepping up wherever they’re needed. That’s what showing up looks like.

Well done to Jono, Justin and the team with the ACMD relocation into the new building.

Good morning Jason and thank you for your email. Everything went as planned and we couldn’t have asked for more from the Orana team led by Justin!

They were quick, efficient and handled the move with care and professionalism. We’ve already noted this within our department chat and recommended Orana to other teams who may be facilitating similar moves in the future.

I’ll call Jonathan later this morning in any case and check in to see if Justin had any issues yesterday with some late changes, we had with the delivery address with some of the Re-use items and to say a big thank you for managing this.

Thank you again and we look forward to working with Orana again in the future.

Great catching up at the Supply Nation Trade Expo in Brisbane earlier this week. Charlie, our Director, and Brendan, Project Manager at Orana Commercial Relocations, were out connecting with partners, learning about new opportunities, and showcasing the work we’re proud to deliver. Always good to be part of an event that brings together so many driven Indigenous businesses and supporters.
