Passengers onboard a flight from Sydney to Perth today have been told they will need to take a COVID-19 test and quarantine for 24hrs.

WA Police spoke on the flight and said ""Unfortunately, while your aircraft has been in the air there’s been some changes to our legislation here in WA in relation to quarantining."

A train with no passengers on board has hit a stolen Jeep parked on the train line in Maddington.

JUST ANNOUNCED:

The State Government is posting a $1 million reward for information to help Police in their investigation into the weekend killing of Nikolas Thomas Martin.

The Government has been briefed on the homicide investigation and have decided to offer the reward to support Police efforts to track down those responsible.

At about 8:40pm on Saturday 12 December, 2020, Mr Martin was at the Kwinana Motorplex in company with several other outlaw motorcycle gang members and associates.

Mr Martin received a single gunshot wound to his torso, which eventually proved fatal.

To date, the person or persons responsible for the homicide of Mr Martin have not been identified.

The WA Police Force has formed Taskforce Ravello in response to the murder which brings together specialist officers from the Gang Crime and Homicide Squads.

The Government of Western Australia is offering of a reward of up to $1,000,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the homicide of Nikolas Thomas Martin on 12 December, 2020 at Kwinana.

The Government may be prepared to consider recommending a protection from prosecution or pardon for any informant with information that leads to the conviction of the person or persons responsible, provided that the informant was not directly responsible for the homicide.

UPDATE: A 51-year-old man was conveyed to Rockingham Hospital but died as a result of his injures. A 31-
year-old man was also injured and conveyed to hospital where he is currently being treated for nonlife-
threatening injuries.
A 5-year-old boy who was in the company of the two men - but is not related to them - received a
minor wound that did not require medical attention.

MOTORPLEX SHOOTING
WA Police are responding to a firearm incident at Kwinana Motorplex that occurred at about 8.36pm.

Two victims have been treated at the scene by St John Ambulance and are now being treated in hospital.

Gang Crime Squad will be working throughout the night investigating the incident and witnesses are urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
