Please be aware that our Office and Customer Service team will be closed from Friday to Monday inclusive for the Easter long weekend. 🐣✨
If you have animals travelling with us over Easter or in the week immediately after, please ensure your bookings are finalised by close of business on Thursday afternoon. (4.30pm QLD time) This helps us make sure every pet is confirmed and ready for their journey. 🐾💛
After the Long Weekend our Customer Service team will be managing a high volume of enquiries and bookings, so it may be difficult to process last‑minute bookings throughout most of next week. Thank you in advance for your patience. 🌷
Please also note that our advertised office hours are in QLD time, as our Customer Service team is based on the Gold Coast. ⏰🌞
If your pets are already booked to travel during Easter, there are no expected disruptions or changes to our regular services. Our Drivers and their support staff are all working as usual to care for your Pets. You’ll be able to contact your Driver if required from the pickup day using the phone numbers provided in your confirmation SMS or email. 🚐🐶

⛽𝐑𝐞: 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥⛽
I am seeing people online suggesting that the relaxed standards on fuel quality for the next 60 days will cause problems for our cars. Particularly high sulphur diesel causing DPF issues.
This is not true and while some of that info will be from concerned folk that have not bothered to check the facts other info is clearly political.

The relaxed standards only apply to petrol (no diesel) processed here in Australia at the Ampol local refinery.
Diesel standards for low sulphur fuel have been locked in place since 2009 and are not changing. 🚐𝐍𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐏𝐅.🛻

The standards for petrol have only been relaxed back to the previous 2024 standards which only came into force in Dec. 2025, 3 months ago.
So any Petrol you put in your car will be as good as or better than what was legal until 3 months ago.

The current standard is 10ppm of sulphur in Unleaded Petrol, old standard was 150ppm of sulphur in unleaded. Ampols refinery produces unleaded at 50ppm and was in the process of an upgrade to meet the new standards. But the 50ppm petrol that will be allowed for the next 60 days will not cause damage to your petrol vehicle in the short term. The change to the standards was not about maintenance issues or even green house gases. It was updated because Sulphur has an effect on air quality where the fuel is burned. i.e. Smog and localised air pollution.

What the relaxation of standards, and more fuel supply may do is help reduce any panic buying or stocking up which has been the major cause of rising fuel prices.

Hi everyone,
We wanted to let you know about an unavoidable adjustment to our pricing that will take effect from Monday 16th March.
As you may have seen, diesel prices have risen sharply with our average price now around $2.60, or 45% above the average price just 2 weeks ago. As an Interstate Transporter nearly all of our fuel is bought in regional Australia and in one region yesterday we paid over $3.00 per litre. Fuel is one of our core input costs and these increases are impacting our operating costs.

To ensure we can continue providing consistent, high‑quality transport, we are introducing a temporary fuel levy of $25 per booking on our Interstate Express services. This levy will remain in place only while fuel prices stay above normal operating levels, and we will review it regularly. The levy will rise or fall along with average Diesel prices. Updates will be added to the comments as they occur.

Press Release from Dogs Australia regarding the advancing threat of the deadly Ehrlichiosis disease in Australia.
Ehrlichiosis is passed on by bites from infected Brown Dog Ticks prevalent across the top half of Australia.
It is important if you live in or are travelling throughout Northern Australia with dogs that you are aware of this threat and take precautions against tick bites. Treatments that cause the tick to die after biting the dog are not as effective as tick collars that stop ticks attaching.

Our next QLD service departs Brisbane on Sunday morning up to Central QLD, and is due to travel from Townsville to Cairns on Monday afternoon / evening.

Update 7/3/26 1pm. The Tropical low 29U moved out into Western QLD on Friday and there is a lack of clarity on whether it will go further west, turn South East towards Brisbane or dissipate quickly. Either way it is causing heavy rain across a wide area with the potential for flash flooding and possible road closures particularly now in Central QLD.

🚧🌩️It is too early to know whether roads will be clear for the complete trip but we are monitoring the situation closely. All clients with pets due to be delivered or collected between Townsville and Cairns need to be aware that there is a chance we may not be able to get north of Mackay due to road closures. We will contact all affected clients directly as decisions are made but suggest that consideration is given to a back up plan if you have friends or relatives further south or postponing your pets travel till the next service if possible.🐶🐕‍🦺

This system may also affect the Western QLD / Mt Isa run also happening this weekend but the roads are currently open.
