Due to the ongoing covid situation, including rising cases in the Northern Rivers region, government restrictions and reduced customer demand, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close, starting tomorrow (Saturday 13th November). At this stage we hope to reopen on Wednesday 1st December. We will be posting further updates closer to the end of November, and our call centre will remain open if you have any queries. We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate all the support you've given our business.

Due to an unexpected issue with drivers, we will not be operating tomorrow - Thursday 11th November. We apologize for any inconvenience and will be back as normal on Friday 12th November. Our call centre will still be operating for anyone wishing to make advance bookings for later in the week.

Due to the continuing effects of covid regulations and other issues, we unfortunately need to reduce our taxi operations to 6 days per week, with no service on Sundays for now. We will review this later in the year with a view to increasing days/hours of operation. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Say at home orders are back from midnight tonight (3rd Oct) till 11th October. Lismore Taxis will continue to operate, so give us a call or book via the SmartHail app if you need to travel for essential reasons.

⚠ A stay-at-home order for the Lismore local government area will be introduced from midnight tonight until 11 October 2021.

👉 This stay-at-home order will also apply to anyone who has been in Lismore LGA since 28 September 2021.

Everyone in this area must stay at home unless it is for an essential reason, which includes:
⚬ shopping for food
⚬ medical care
⚬ getting vaccinated
⚬ compassionate needs
⚬ exercise
⚬ work or tertiary education that can't be done from home

October 11 marks the start of the NSW Government's Roadmap to Recovery plan, when the state will have hit a 70% vaccination rate. From October 11, rules in some situations will be more relaxed for people who are fully vaccinated than those who aren't.

Stay safe everyone

‼️Two new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in residents of the Northern NSW Local Health District.

One case has been confirmed in the Byron Bay area, while a second case has been confirmed in the Kyogle area.

Initial investigations indicate that both people had been infectious in the community, with contact tracing and investigations currently under way.

🚗A new drive-through clinic will be open in Kyogle.
• Kyogle Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology Drive Through clinic – Kyogle Visitor Information Centre, Cnr Summerland Way and Anzac Drive. Open from 9am – 3pm, no appointments required.

The drive-through clinic will also be open at Byron Bay.
• QML Drive through testing clinic - Cavanbah Sports Ground, Ewingsdale Road, Byron Bay, open from 10am-4pm. Appointments not required.

We will provide more information as soon as it is available, including any exposure venues of public concern.
