We're on the look out for a highly skilled and professional person to be our Operations Manager at our Derrimut warehouse.

We are a family run business operating between Tasmania and Victoria, moving refrigerated goods and general freight.

Duties for this role include:
- Planning and allocating local pickups and deliveries
- Load Planning of interstate freight movements
- Receiving and processing inbound freight
- Managing consignment notes, load plans and paperwork
- Assisting with loading and unloading operations
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with all employees, customers and subcrontactors
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace environment

You MUST have the following skills:
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel spreadsheets, Word, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and time management
- LF Forklift licence is essential
- Good understanding of NHVR laws and regulations
- Transport depot operations experience
- Reliable, flexible and respectful with a 'can do' positive attitude

Williams Refrigerated Transport is a Tasmanian based family owned business operating well maintained equipment and a great work environment. HIRING NOW HIRING NOW

We freight a large amount of cherries and apples from Tasmania to Victoria and this job includes a lot of weekend work during the busy season. We do general freight crossing Bass Strait every day all year round as well.

With work increasing we require a trust worthy and motivated driver. To be considered for this role you must have the following.

: MC License
: General and refrigerated experience
: Basic mechanical knowledge
: Based in Victoria
: Forklift license
: Safe loading practices
: Police check/License history
: Provide pre-employment medical assessment

This job will include working weekends during the fruit season.

You must be passionate and customer focused and well presented as we work closely with our clients, you will need good communication skills. Company uniform will be supplied and you will be expected to wear it at all times when on our job. We are a smoke free work place and do not allow smoking in any of our trucks or in our depots. All our trucks have real time external cameras fitted and gps tracking systems for safety. Suitable female drivers are encouraged to apply.

And it’s reveal day! 🙌🏻

About 8 weeks ago we took the old girl off the road for a well deserved birthday and the results could not have been better.

We’re very proud to represent Clennett’s Mitre 10 as a moving billboard, and today we headed down to Kingston to showcase the new outfit in front of the store! Keep an eye on Clennett’s socials for some more photos of this beauty! 💙

From the ground up all restoration works were completed by local professionals who went above and beyond to ensure this will stand out, and they’ve done just that. Had many heads turning on its first trip thru Hobart today!

If you see us out and about with this in tow, put ya sunnies on it’s a tad bright! 😎🚛👌🏻
