To all those that think having a Rideshare service is easy and profitable? It’s not.

First of all, always having to dodge potholes and our furry forest friends (aka skippies), then getting to a destination just to find you have another 700 meters or more driveway to take on before getting to the premises at a specific pickup time which was agreed upon beforehand and no one comes out. When I eventually to find out people want to stay longer as they are having a great time at their current location and weren’t ready to leave yet. I get that, not to mention the car service and ongoing maintenance as you clock up those kilometers.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. I started Ziggy’s Rideshare in January, and I love doing it and love meeting some beautiful people along the way. I feel like I give up my weekends, and I agreed to provide a service for the people of Heathcote and its surrounds which was warmly received.
I suppose I’m looking for a show of hands to gauge to see if people still want this service ?
