Your key responsibility is the repair and maintenance of plant and machinery. Applicants need to demonstrate a track record as, fast paced and flexible team.
- Qualified diesel fitting / mechanical trade certificate
- Proven experience as a field service mechanic
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Maintain services, diagnostics, repairs and records across our whole fleet which includes a variety of civil construction, automotive & heavy vehicles.
- Experience in hydraulics specifically a bonus
- An ability to work independently and at times guide others
- Attend field services, breakdowns, call outs and servicing requirements. Working at the workshop and out across our sites
- Good communication skills and strong organisational skills
- A mature approach to the workplace, an ability to complete tasks and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
- A focus on โSafer by Choiceโ complies with OH&S requirements
- A valid driver's licence and relevant tickets
Light, medium and heavy vehicle licences would be a bonus.
Workdays are typically Tuesday to Saturday, approximately 10-hour days per day.
