Nestled amongst the rocky structures and cave systems of ancient Gondwanan rainforest is Australia’s largest glow-worm colony. Like stars in the night sky, these tiny larvae light up the dark with their brilliant blue-green lights 🐛

Women (and a few men) in Tourism gathered at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary today. Wow, we did mammoth group business with them back in the day when Japan and China has their love affair with the gold coast, Australia's lifestyle capital.

Come along to learn and grow for our first Women in Tourism Breakfast at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on Friday 2/2/24. As past guests know after our guest speaker spot, you can expect Allison's Amazing Antics and since John Warn confessed to no formal musical training, we are going to go right there! Volunteers with some talent and timing skills will be sought to join in the fun.

One of our beautiful buses was at QT after the Women in Tourism event. It was a glittering Christmas event attended by more than a hundred Gold Coast women and a few men, who work in tourism...the city's main industry.

Over 170 Destination Gold Coast members met for the annual general meeting and saw new Experience Gold Coast CEO, John Warn speak for the first time. A tourism advisory board of familiar industry faces has been formed to help inform the new body in its mission to take the Gold Coast forward as the lifestyle capital of Australia and, why not, the world! JPT Tour Group was recognised for 25 years of membership. Allison Forner received the award at the Hilton Hotel Surfers Paradise last night.
