Big gear on the move yesterday.
This 6m wide load rolled through behind some solid Kenworth power, heading to Railton.
Takes proper gear and a steady crew to move something this size — job done right.

Hydro Tasmania has transported 25-metre wind turbine blades from Devonport to King Island to begin repairs on a damaged turbine.

The oversized cargo was shipped aboard the John Duigan with support from TasPorts’ Bass Island Line crew following a complex logistics operation.

The blades will replace components damaged during extreme wind conditions, with Entura overseeing the project.

Repairs, including tower and foundation works, are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
