Mobile phone is coming in & out of service however both Eftpos machines in each taxi are still not getting service

Ricks Taxis turns 1 today.
Today marks 1 year since we officially started our business we are beyond grateful of so many people that have supported us & helped our business grow.
We all look forward to providing our service & growing further over the years to come.
None of this would have been able to happen without the support of my beautiful wife Kylie & the support of our 3 children & friends. Not forgetting driver Arty. Please continue to support our family owned & operated Taxi & booking Service as without you all of our customers we wouldn’t be able to provide the services you all love.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart & I will be back behind the wheel again very soon.

Public Service Announcement.
Rick is currently out of action on crutches.
Awaiting to have further scans etc to see what’s wrong.
Kylie, Arty & Libby will try to service the town as normal but please be patient with them as at times there may be longer waiting periods before they can get to you.
At this stage we will
Not be able to take any further early morning bookings outside of normal hours bookings already taken will still be honoured.

Well who would of thought that it is almost 1 year since we opened our Ricks Taxi in Glen Innes.
Not to mention that we have been the sole remaining Taxi Service since the end of December last year & now operate 3 vehicles our 2 Taxis & also our dedicated Booking Service Car who’s main role is the long Distance transport for our Department Of Veterans Affairs Contract & multiple Insurance Company Contracts. This car is also then used to help back up our Taxi Service at times when a Taxi is out of town or having its regular Maintenance.
None of this would have been able to happen without the support of my Wife Kylie Thomas ❤️💐 our 3 Children Kimberley, Elizabeth & William.
Not Forgetting driver Arty, but most importantly of all our customers & the entire community that have supported us from day 1 you all mean the world to us & have allowed our Care & Community spirit to grow more & more each day with our customers we would not be able to provide the services you all love THANK YOU with all our heart. We have & look forward to growing more fantastic relationships with you all.
We have been overwhelmed by the supportive communities we service.
We look forward to providing our continued service & continue to grow it even bigger with more options & services over years to come.
We have gone from just myself as a Driver to now also having Arty, my wife Kylie Daughter Elizabeth also now having her Taxi License, Son William will also have his very soon & will fill in when he is home between his rosters, our other Daughter Kimberley will also fill in as a driver of our Booking Car thus really being a family business. We would also like to thank Velquip & Glen Innes Bowling Club as well as all businesses in Glen Innes for also supporting us in many ways & we will continue to also support all your businesses by buying local as we have been.
We will also be continuing to support local Charities where we can & are also proud to be a Diamond Sponsor of the Glen Innes & District Community Centre Inc..

Ricks Taxis would like to advise the following.
Unfortunately we cant accept any early bookings from 6.30am for the remainder of this week. Normal opening times of 8am & then Saturday 9am.
Early morning bookings will start again next week.
Also there will only be 1 Taxi Available this Thursday & Friday due to on each day Rick has to take each Taxi to Brisbane to have Fare Meters & Cabcharge system upgrades installed.
We will however have Kylie in our Booking Car trying to help out with some Fares with remaining 1 Taxi please note if you need to use Cabcharge on those days to advise when calling for the Taxi.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause & ask you to please be patient & polite to our drivers whilst Taxis are having equipment upgrades.
