Darwin’s finest way to tour East Point & Surrounds
Darwin Horse and Carriage was formally established in 2017 by Marc Gallagher, Mr Chips and Major. Marc has lovingly restored the white carriage that seats up to 5 and custom built from the chassis the timber wagon that seats up to 12. Now with a team of 6 horses, the business is growing from strength to strength. We strongly advocate tourism in the Northern Territory and have featured on many great promotional platforms including the Today Show and ABC Country Hour. All of our horses have had a previous life, some as harness race horses (trotters and pacers), some as station horses and some as riding or pleasure horses. Part of our commitment to sustainability is to re-home horses rather than be breeding and adding to the already huge numbers of horses out there in the community. Our dynamic team of horses also work with Yarraman Territory who deliver equine therapy programs to at risk youths and are happily ridden on trail rides through the desert or at the beach.
Our range of tours and experiences offers something for everyone, from group touring, to weddings and romantic picnics to kids parties and private transfers. We are available to travel to any destination as well. Find out about our team via our FB page, instagram and our website.
