We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to the Southern Refrigerated Transport fleet – the Isuzu FYJ 300-350 14 pallet rigid, fitted with a TRS full height freezer body and powered by the reliable Thermo King T-1200 fridge.
This truck is more than just a powerhouse for cold chain logistics – it’s equipped with cutting-edge technology including the go live AI DMS (Driver Monitoring Camera), helping us deliver safer, smarter and more efficient refrigerated transport solutions across Australia.
With the capacity to handle 14 pallets and maintain ultra-low temperatures, this Isuzu FYJ is perfectly suited for the diverse needs of our customers, ensuring every delivery arrives fresh and on time. The TRS full height freezer body offers maximum cargo protection, while the Thermo King T-1200 fridge guarantees consistent cooling performance even on the hottest Aussie days.

Current Opportunities
• 1 x Full-Time B Double / A Doubles Driver: Return trips from Strathmerton to Melbourne.
• 1 x Full-Time B Double / A Double Driver: Predominantly running between Melbourne and Brisbane.
• 2 x Full-Time HC Drivers with Meat Hanging Experience: Dock-to-dock work, running into Sydney. (No lumping required.)
• 5 x Full-Time and Casual Interstate HC / MC Positions: Interstate runs that may lead to permanent full-time roles.
• 4 x Melbourne Local HC & MC

What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:
• Hold a current MC or HC licence.
• Bring a minimum of 3 years’ driving experience.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance with NHVR laws and requirements.
• Have Thermo King fridge experience (advantageous, not essential).
• Are physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical (company-paid).
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and attention to paperwork.
• Can provide a current state driving record/printout.

Southern Refrigerated Transport is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team in a Transport Administration role at our Strathmerton office. This is a 6-month maternity leave position, with the exciting possibility of ongoing full-time employment for the right person.
About the Role
As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a key part in supporting our transport operations. Your responsibilities will include general administrative duties, data entry, coordinating pallet movements, and assisting with daily transport logistics.
Position Details
• Position: Transport Administration (Maternity Leave Cover)
• Duration: 6 months, with potential to become permanent
• Location: Strathmerton Office
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm (flexible; additional hours available if required)
What We’re Looking For
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
• Experience with CHEP and Loscam pallets is a significant advantage
• Familiarity with Xero and Excel highly regarded
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Transport or logistics admin experience preferred but not essential
