A little Tasfast history: On July 10th, 2015 a Cessna 208 Caravan Cargomaster touched down at Moorabbin Airport for the first time.

Registered as VH-IOV and capable of lifting up to an impressive 1400kg payload, IOV became an important workhorse for the Tasfast Airfreight and Vortex Air fleet.

Exhausted and exhilarated after 55 hours of flight, our pilots were greeted with open arms by the Tasfast Airfreight and Vortex Air team and IOV was put straight to work earning its keep.

Tasfast Airfreight and Vortex Air have just acquired our second Cessna Caravan from Greece. VH-IOV has just taken off and will be in Australia soon.

The 2 man crew, consisting of Chief Pilot Peter Tucker and his co-pilot James Bawden, have a challenging 6 sectors and over 55 Hours of flight ahead of them before VH-IOV will touch safely down at Moorabbin Airport.
