Fairly urgent trip to Sydney - been an incessant week with Agents requesting quotes as a consequence of the demise/liquidation of one of the Port Douglas Transport operators, very sad indeed. We’ve ordered a new Hiace and Toyota Prado from (Pacific Toyota) Chris Baker for fleet upgrade and to maintain standards expected of our company. While here we are inspecting a couple of Mercedes S class vehicles to replace our Maserati. Sydney weather today is beautiful.

Busy day today - early start and a nice finish with this Gulfstream G450 - range 4000 nautical miles. Lovely folks too.

Our vehicles are checked daily and every 10000 klms they are serviced. With 20 vehicles travelling on 86 tyres, requiring registration, Comprehensive Insurance and extra public liability cover the costs mount up. We also have a full time automotive cleaner. February is a big month service wise in the lead up to the “busy season“ which runs through to November. Servicing is only performed by qualified professionals such as ABC Mechanical and you see here our Yutong C12 on their hoist being checked from top to bottom - and documented.

Our Agents required a VIP transfer from the Cairns International Airport to Coconut Grove (Port Douglas Luxury Limousines) Port Douglas. We set a high standard and the guests were extremely impressed and appreciative. The retail cost of those 2 vehicles (photos) is well in excess of $200k. This investment is indicative of our fleet pride. Vehicle acquisition for us is an ongoing process as can be seen by our constant fleet upgrades. We love it up here !

Amway Conference Cairns with 2500 delegates from Korea visiting over the space of a month in four waves. Coaches and Limousines utilised - in bulk - massive logistics from all concerned.

We are sub-contracted to Tropic Wings Cairns Tours for the coach transfers. Tropics set the benchmark for Coach logistics in Cairns and the Far North Tourism Tropical North Queensland. A great bunch of professionals and the only local coach company that could put this together.

The smaller vehicle transfers we are contracted direct to the conference organisers so I suppose we can claim a little kudos.

Cairns is renowned for its conferencing and organisational skills which span right across the broad spectrum of Tourism including our Convention Centre.
