Our District Veterinarians have detected three-day sickness in many areas of the mid north coast.

It was first detected at Gloucester/Barrington last week, and reports of suspect cases have been received from Taree, Wingham and Gresford. It is expected that cases will spread quite rapidly throughout the Mid Coast and Hunter region now that it has arrived.

Livestock producers are advised to increase checks on stock to at least daily and be prepared to nurse down animals. Speak to your vet about treatment options if you notice any sick or lame animals.
