Heads up weekend travellers.

EDIT: We have confirmed with ARTC that the detour will run up Grano / Warrack / Warrayatkin. Vline coaches will be following the detour and drop passengers off at Ararat Station as usual. To speak directly to ARTC, contact 1300 550 402 or [email protected]

ORIGINAL: Australian Rail Track Corporation will be carrying out essential track maintenance at the level crossing on the Western Highway, near the big roundabout where Barkly and High Streets split. Works start from 10pm Saturday 22 November and will continue through to 6pm Sunday 23 November. Please note, this schedule is continuous and will impact both pedestrians and vehicles.

For everyone’s safety, the level crossing will be fully closed during these works. Detours will be in place, so we’re asking all drivers and pedestrians to plan ahead and follow the signs to get where you need to go.

Thank you for your patience while these important works are carried out. Your cooperation helps keep our community safe while ARTC gets the job done.
