The beginning of summer is a critical time for teen driver safety.

Remember:
• Never stop on the tracks. Stay behind the white line.
• Never go around a lowered gate.
• Trains can approach from either direction at any time. Always look for a second train.
• Avoid distractions near tracks.

Here's what to do if you see someone stuck on the tracks.

If it is safe to do so, find the Blue Emergency Notification System (ENS) sign and report the concern immediately. These signs are there to help you report urgent situations near the tracks. If you cannot locate the sign, dial 911.

Make it a habit to locate where the blue ENS signs are on your regular route. If you see something unusual near the tracks, call the number on the sign.

Knowing what to look for and how to respond helps keep everyone moving safely.
