Team TMA had a blast meeting families at Alder Creek Elementary’s End-of-Year Festival on May 15! 😎 We chatted about walking and biking to school and sustainable transportation options for parents. Kids shared how they get to school and drew their dream school community ideas - we especially loved the crosswalks and the lazy river! 🛟

Meet Peach 🚲💛 Today was her first time biking to work — and the American River Parkway made for a pretty incredible commute! Normally she carpools, but with gas prices these days, she’s excited to add a cheaper, more scenic option into her routine.

We kicked off on May 9 with a breezy ride from the , lead the cruise along the Folsom South Canal with herons, snakes, and fuzzy Pipevine Swallowtail caterpillars along the way 🐛. Shady stretches of the American River Bike Trail kept things cool before looping back via the Sunrise Corridor Rail Trail.

Everyone who rode got ✨exclusive✨ swag and one lucky rider won a basket of local produce from 🥒
came out to teach us how be pro at loading our bike onto the bus rack.
