Louis E. Hunter Sr. is a 2007 graduate of St. Augustine. He attended Delgado Community College majoring in Business Administration. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Eagle’s Wings Ministries Temple of Deliverance located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Pastor Hunter was baptized at an early age at Eagles Wings Ministries COGIC under the leadership of his father, the late Pastor Raymond Hunter Sr. Pastor Hunter has received many awards and certificates in his lifetime. Pastor Hunter has traveled to many places preaching and teaching the Word of God and taught in the National Leadership Convention of the Church of God in Christ and other Conferences aboard. Pastor Hunter has worked his way through The Church by serving in various positions in the local church as well as the jurisdictions. He served as the Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor in His Local Church , and Jurisdictional Youth President.
In August 2001, Pastor Hunter was Licensed to the Gospel Ministry as a Minister, under the auspices of the, Greater New Orleans Jurisdiction of Louisiana under the Leadership of the late Bishop Lindell Benford Brown. On January 23, 2013, Pastor Hunter was officially installed as Pastor of the Eagle’s Wings Ministries Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Church. After which, he was Appointed as The District Superintendent of the Deliverance District While Serving Under the Covering of the Southern California Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
