How do we start the working day(morning) ?
1️⃣Make coffee😎🤪
2️⃣Calling drivers
3️⃣ Wake up the driver( sometimes it’s really hard, but 10k calls can help with this )
4️⃣ Checking his HOS and how many miles left
5️⃣ Give the driver time for breakfast and everything else if he has enough time
6️⃣If everything okay inform customer or broker his apprx arrival time/if driver overslept or there was a breakdown and other, inform customer or broker about and if needed call to the shipper or receiver report them and ask if they can accept driver. In case of breakdown, ask driver if he needs help, cause sometimes the driver himself can call a familiar dealership and negotiate with them. If not, the dispatcher can look for the nearest truck stops and get help for driver.
