At Mission Petroleum, we move crude across South Texas every day—but the work that matters most isn't always on the road.
We're proud to share that Mission Petroleum has made a donation to 4th Recon Veterans, a San Antonio–based 501(c)(3) founded by veterans of the Fourth Reconnaissance Battalion.
This one is personal. A member of our leadership team serves on the board of 4th Recon Veterans, and supporting this organization reflects something we believe in at every level of our company—standing beside the people who've served.
4th Recon Veterans exists to support current and former Marines and Sailors of the Fourth Reconnaissance Battalion and their families through peer connection and access to the resources, benefits, and care they've earned. Their motto says it all—"Never above you, never below you, always by your side."
That ethos isn't far from our own. Many of the men and women who keep our industry running are veterans, and we know what it means to stand beside the people in your unit—on a deployment or on a job site.
Supporting this organization was an easy decision. The harder part is making sure more people know the work they do.
