60+Ride Our Beginning

Senior Resource Services was founded by DeeAnn Groves. Currently we have approximately 1,200 clients and about 120 volunteers.

60 Plus Ride provides free personalized transportation through caring volunteers and staff so that Weld County residents over 60 retain dignity and community connections to support physical, emotional, and mental health. Our Mission

60 Plus Ride provides free personalized transportation through caring volunteers and staff so that Weld County residents over 60 retain dignity and community connecti

ons to support physical, emotional, and mental health. Caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s kindled her passion in helping the elderly and led her to become a gerontologist. Senior Resource Services was established because she understood firsthand the challenges that caregivers encounter; adult children not knowing where to turn for help and seniors living alone needing assistance for a better quality of life. We received our 501 (c) 3 non-profit status in 2007 and began with one client and one caregiver and as of today, they have bonded and enjoy one another’s company. Our numbers in Greeley and the other communities in Weld County are increasing daily. Our primary program offers Weld County seniors transportation free of charge, regardless of income. We have a Greeley/Evans transport vehicle and a rural Accessible Van to serve our clients. Destinations include medical appointments, grocery shopping, government and legal institutions, social events, and grooming appointments.

Because of partners who believe in solutions, not just ideas, 2026 is already taking shape.

We are deeply grateful to the partners who are helping us shape and launch the Mobility Matters Solution — a commitment to expanding safe, reliable transportation for older adults across Weld County.
Your investment isn’t just funding a program.
It’s helping remove barriers.
It’s strengthening independence.
It’s ensuring more neighbors can stay connected to the lives they’ve built.

Because of Weld County’s support — from volunteers and donors to community partners — older adults have been able to get where they need to go.
We’re honored to have served this community for two decades, and grateful to continue this work alongside you.
Thank you, Weld County, for helping us keep lives moving forward — then, now, and into the future.

Why We Keep Moving and Where We’re Going

As we step into a new year, we’ve been reflecting on something that never changes: Why 60 Plus Ride exists in the first place. It’s simple. Transportation should never be the reason an older adult feels isolated or left behind. We had a record-breaking year for miles driven! Every mile wasn’t ...

As we look back on this year, one thing shines brightest, You.
Your care helped older adults stay connected, confident, and cared for.
Here’s to more miles of kindness in the new year ahead.

12/29/2025

When someone cares, a path opens.
Your kindness hit the road and older adults across Weld County didn’t have to stay home wondering how they would get "there". They reached doctor’s appointments, picked up groceries, and stayed connected to their community.
