🚲 WANT NUMBERS???
HERE ARE THE NUMBERS. 📊

We talk a lot about the need for transportation in recovery. But now we have the data to show what can happen when that barrier is removed.

Based on our current 15 RecoverE Bikes participants:

📈 RECOVERY MEETING ATTENDANCE
At intake: 2.2 meetings/week
September: 3.3 meetings/week

That’s a 50% increase in weekly recovery meeting attendance.

💼 EMPLOYMENT AT INTAKE
• 9 unemployed
• 5 employed part-time
• 1 employed full-time

💼 EMPLOYMENT IN SEPTEMBER
• 2 remain unemployed
• 8 employed part-time
• 5 employed full-time

That means employment increased from 40% to 87% among these participants.

And one number we’re especially proud of:

💙 All 15 participants remain clean.

These aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet. They represent people getting to work, making recovery meetings, attending appointments, rebuilding their independence, and moving forward with their lives.

The program is working. Now we need help growing it. We have over 400 current applications!!!

Demand for RecoverE Bikes continues to exceed the number of e-bikes we have available. Each e-bike costs approximately $1,600, but putting someone on a bike is only the beginning.

Your support also helps fund our incredible Client Care Coordinator, warehouse expenses, insurance, GPS/IoT technology, maintenance, repairs, safety equipment, and the infrastructure required to operate this program responsibly.

RecoverE Bikes is building something unique: a mobility solution specifically designed to remove transportation barriers for people in recovery.

We are beginning to expand our sponsorship and partnership opportunities so treatment and recovery organizations can help bring e-bikes directly to the people they serve.

But we need the community behind us, too.

Even on Labor Day, we’re working to help people keep moving! 💙🚲

Another RecoverE E-Bike is going out today — and another one is already being built!

The need continues to grow. We now have 430+ applications for the RecoverE Bikes program, far more than the number of e-bikes we currently have available.

That’s why we’re setting a goal to raise $10,000 to help keep more people moving.

Your support helps provide more than just an e-bike. Donations help cover e-bikes, helmets and safety equipment, GPS technology, insurance, maintenance and repairs, and client success coordination — everything necessary to help our riders stay safe, mobile, and moving forward.

THIS is why RecoverE Bikes exists!!! 💙🚲

A few days ago, we shared how incredible it felt to see two of our clients out in the community riding their e-bikes.

Then we received this comment from one of our riders.

This is the impact of transportation.

A ride to an NA meeting.
A ride to IOP.
A ride to the gym.
A ride to the store.
And soon… a ride to work.

For many of the people we serve, transportation isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a barrier between them and recovery, employment, stability, and independence.

RecoverE Bikes is working to change that.

But the need is much greater than the number of e-bikes we currently have available.

We’re setting a goal to raise $10,000 to help keep people moving. 🚲

Seeing progress in motion isn’t just rewarding, it’s a reminder that transportation truly changes lives. 💙🚲

🚲 We’re honored to be featured by Eye On Annapolis!

RecoverE Bikes started with a simple belief:

No one should have to choose between getting to work, getting to treatment, or getting to a recovery meeting because they don’t have transportation.

Today, we’re proud to be recognized for the work we’re doing to remove transportation barriers and create opportunities for individuals throughout Anne Arundel County.

This recognition isn’t just about RecoverE Bikes—it’s about every participant working toward a better future, every referral partner who believes in our mission, every volunteer who has assembled bikes, every donor and sponsor who has invested in our vision, and every supporter who has shared our story.

We’re just getting started.

Our mission is bigger than e-bikes. We’re building a Mobility Success Program that helps people access employment, healthcare, education, recovery support, and the opportunities they deserve.

❌ MYTH: “You guys give away e-bikes.”

✅ REALITY: We provide a Mobility Success Program.

An e-bike is simply the tool.

The real program includes:

Every contribution helps remove transportation barriers for someone working toward a better future.
