Fall calls for film fun! The Women in Film Festival at the Martha's Vineyard Film Society runs today through Sunday.

WIFF is a celebration of women in film: both in front of and behind the camera. This festival features stories that have not usually been told from a woman’s perspective.

Routes 1, 2, 3, 10, 10A, and 13 all go to the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority, and it's a short walk over to the Film Society from there.

Wondering how the new Boston Hospital Transportation bus actually works?

You meet your driver at the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority terminal and walk onto the 6 AM boat to Woods Hole. From Woods Hole, a VTA vehicle takes you to the Sagamore Commuter Lot to catch the Boston Hospital bus, which gets you to your medical facility by mid morning. The return bus leaves Boston at 3 PM, and you'll be back on the 5 PM or 6:15 PM boat home.

Call VTA at 508-693-9440, ext. 1 to reserve, at least one weekday ahead of your appointment.
