Ripley County Transit Here at RCT we provide Local Rural General Public Transportation for Everyone in Ripley County. We have infant and children car seats.

Ripley County Transit's transportation is available to anyone in Ripley County, Missouri, regardless of age, income, disability, race, gender, religion, or national origin. We have wheelchair vehicles. We do local general public transportation and Missouri Medicaid transportation, too. We are here for YOU, your friends, and your family. If you know of someone who has special needs (i.e. blind, doe

s not speak English, illiterate, etc.) contact us and we will try our best to help them make transportation arrangements.

Ripley County Transit is an EEO Employer!

Ripley County Transit is looking to hire a part-time driver.

Requirements for driving are as follows:
1. DOT Physical with approved medical card (done by applicant) because we cross state lines.
2. Class E drivers license
3. Must be 25 years of age
4. Must pass a FBI background check and a drug screen.
5. Must be able to pull, push, twist, squat and lift at minimum 50 lbs.
6. Position is part-time and hours will vary, we cannot guarantee the amount of hours you will receive. It varies based on demand.

Applications can be downloaded from our website at www.ripleycountytransit.org or picked up at our main office on 160E across from Family Services and next door to FCC.

Ripley County Transit office will be opening at 9:00 am in the morning and running routes that are safe. If we cannot reach you due to road conditions the office staff will contact you! Safety for you and our employees are number 1 priority!

Ripley County Transit Offices will be closed tomorrow and vans not operating 1/27/26. Sorry for any inconveniences. We hope to be able to run at least some routes on Wednesday.
