Full Job Description
Port Driver
Shifts will include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Days are scheduled as 10-hour shifts.
Additional Benefits:
Newer company owned trucks.
Company paid health insurance, dental and vision after 90 days.
Accrued time off after 90 days of employment.
Job Summary:
Transport containers from the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles to various locations in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and West Texas and return containers to the port. Must have TWIC card and be willing to do long hauls and overnights when needed. We have a yard in Gardena and our own chassis.
Minimum Requirements:
18 months driving experience with a tractor/trailer
Must be at least 23 years of age
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
No major convictions in the past 5 years (DUI, Reckless, Suspensions etc.)
Must be able to operate tractors with manual transmission
Valid Class A CDL
Valid TWIC card
6 months or more of Port experience
