Yesterday the 10th of July 2024, we did our first test run after our amiable Governor reopened the Company and we are glad to announce to the general public that, it was a major success. We have resumed loading to all routes.

In compliance with the Rivers State Government directives restricting interstate vehicular movements as part of the measures to end COVID 19, our loading bay will be on temporal lock down to interstate travel, only our intercity routes (within the state) will be active.
We want to also inform our numerous passengers and clients that our offices will be opened to inquiries and pick up of parcels/other items previously sent in.
Full operations will resume immediately the Government lifts the restrictions but we at Rivers Transport Company Limited, will continue to adhere to safe practices as all our staff, passengers, visitors and clients must be checked from the entrances, wash their hands or use the available sanitizers before being allowed into our premises.
We urge our esteemed passengers and clients to stay safe, practice a healthy lifestyle, wash your hands with soap under running water for 20mins, use hand sanitizers regularly, clean your phones regularly with soft clothe and sanitizer, stay hydrated atleast sip water every 15mins, practice social distancing (go out only when very necessary). With this we all can reduce the spread of the COVID 19 by breaking the Chain.

It was an auspicious occasion, as RTC in collaboration with Gratix Enterprise and National lottery commission awarded their deserving commuters at the 5th Lottery raffle draw, which held at the loading bay of the Company's headquarters. The Board Chairman Chief Ibe Eresia-Eke in his speech appreciated all our clients and Customers for their patronage and reassured them of continuous safety as they patronize us.
