Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) and ZencoRide Enterprises Partner to Empower 100,000 Youths Through Transportation and Mobility Innovation
The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) has entered into a landmark partnership with ZencoRide Enterprises, a technology-driven mobility and ride-hailing company, to empower tens of thousands of Nigerian youths through employment, vehicle ownership, and financial inclusion.
The partnership, formalized through a collaboration agreement signed in 2025, is set to onboard a minimum of 50,000 and up to 100,000 subscribed drivers onto the ZencoRide platform within the next six months. Leveraging YAN’s nationwide grassroots network, the initiative will also see the rollout of 50 Ride-to-Own (Hire Purchase) vehicles in each state under ZencoRide’s Driver Empowerment Scheme.
Under the agreement, YAN will mobilize and coordinate drivers through its state ambassadors and local structures, while ZencoRide will provide training, onboarding support, and brand visibility. For every successfully onboarded driver verified through the YAN platform, ZencoRide will provide Financial Opportunity and ensuring sustainability and motivation within the mobilization network.
Speaking on the partnership, Rt. Hon. Famuyibo Oluwasegun, National Speaker and Amb. Umaru Bala Babayaro, National Deputy Speaker, described it as “a groundbreaking collaboration that directly addresses youth unemployment while creating a structured pathway to economic empowerment.”
ZencoRide Enterprises also expressed its commitment to ensuring the success of the program, emphasizing that the initiative is designed to create jobs, promote financial inclusion, and give young Nigerians access to affordable vehicle ownership through its Ride-to-Own model.
The program’s impact will be felt across all 36 states and the FCT, providing opportunities not only for drivers but also for a range of ancillary services linked to the transportation sector.
This collaboration stands as a testament to the power of strategic partnerships in addressing pressing socio-economic challenges, particularly youth unemployment, while driving innovation in Nigeria’s transportation industry.
